and even more so at not having a casino manager on duty. Since I normally frequent Atlantic City, I am unused to not being able to get a drink while gambling. While waiting at the bar with 7 other people, the conversation was about how this is common at this casino. He confirmed he was 'in charge at the moment.' They also confirmed that they overnight waitress left at 9:00 and the next waitress started at 10 and had just come in and would be on the floor shortly. I said sure, I'd like to talk to him - just to understand how he could be managing the casino.
I finally approached security and asked to see a manager and was told the only manager on duty was the security manager. I walked the entire casino floor for more than 25 minutes (and it's really not that big of a floor) and could not find a waitress. There was a waitress that came around and was friendly and brought a drink. Several other people came up to the bar at the same time. There was not sign on the bar saying closed. I waited at the bar ibnt he morning to order a screwdriver while I was playing slots and no one came. Although it is a 24 hour casino, management is not on duty 24 hours a day and apparently leaves the security manager in charge when they are not working. I visited this casino 4 times over a weekend and had trouble getting a drink each and every time.
